The Jean Tote is where the Lola Liquorice story began.
Created as the very first design in the Foundation Range, it represents an idea that had quietly evolved over many years before finally becoming reality. It embodies the courage to step beyond familiar boundaries, embrace creativity and bring something truly original to life.
Named after my maternal grandmother, The Jean Tote celebrates timeless elegance, strength and enduring craftsmanship.
Each bag is individually handcrafted from premium genuine leather and finished in elegant Sage green—a striking custom-dyed colour that offers sophistication and individuality. Spacious enough for everyday life while maintaining refined proportions, it is designed to move effortlessly from work to weekends and everything in between.
Inside, the tote is fully lined with luxurious Regency Velvet and finished with premium Morini Italian hardware, creating a handbag that is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside.
Each Lola Liquorice bag is individually handcrafted in South Africa using premium leather selected for its texture, durability, and ability to age beautifully over time.
